Engaged | Melissa & Eric

It isn't every day that your best friend gets engaged, so when I received a phone call from my Bestie, Melissa at 9 a.m. on Saturday, I packed myself, my husband and my two boys into the truck and we made a two hour drive to Cape May, NJ to celebrate with her and her husband-to-be.

Melissa and Eric have known each other since childhood, but it wasn't until 5 years ago at a Christmas party that they realized there was definitely something more than just friendship there.  They became inseparable and their love continued to grow. 

For Melissa and I, we always knew that it would be key for our men to get along.  We needed them to be understanding of our crazy ways but also form a friendship of their own.  Well, once my husband met Eric, we became a foursome of friends that was a match made in heaven.  To top it all off, we all shared a love for the Phillies and have spent every summer since tailgaiting in Jetro parking lot and cheering on the Phils.
