Family | Photo Session for Mom Mom

I was very excited to hear from Taylor, who I photographed back in April for my Mother’s Day Mini Session event. Taylor wanted to give her boyfriend’s mother a custom portrait session as a gift. What a sweet way to let someone know how much you love and appreciate them!

I met up with the whole gang for their session at Glen Foerd Mansion. The crew at the mansion was preparing for a wedding so we stuck to some out-of-the-way spots, and I couldn’t be happier with the results!

Can you believe this woman is a Mom Mom of two?! Stunning! DSC_0225 DSC_0251 DSC_0257 Day-1 DSC_0292 DSC_0306 DSC_0320 DSC_0395-2 DSC_0456

Philadelphia Newborn | Brayden

I began my weekend with the G Family who had welcomed their newest member, Bryaden, just 11 days prior. Brayden is one lucky little guy because he has a big brother, Dennis, who absolutely adores him. Dennis proudly showed off his brother to me in between our disucssions about Play Doh and Dora the Explorer. I had a fantastic time with the G Family and can't wait to see this little guy grow!

Philadelphia Mother's Day Mini Sessions

I hosted my first set of Mini Sessions on Saturday morning in Philadelphia in honor of upcoming Mother's Day.  There were beautiful families and smiling children.  I had a fantastic time meeting new clients and spending time with some familiar faces!

Philadelphia Communion Photographer | Bryn Athyn

Have you ever met a kid who you can clearly picture as an adult?  You just know that they're going to turn into someone responsible and inspiring?  That was the impression I got as soon as I began talking with Liam during his Communion photo shoot at Bryn Athyn.  He spoke without any shyness and was eager to get down to business for his photos!

I met up with the "P" family at Bryn Athyn Cathedral last Friday evening and we truly could not have asked for a nicer setting.  It was absolutely gorgeous!  The trees were in bloom, the weather was warm and the sun was setting slowly.  I had a fantastic time and hope that this family did as well!

Cousins | Philadelphia Family Photography

My morning with this crew was especially meaningful to me because I got to spend some time with a girlfriend who I have known and loved for years, Lisa. She and I met in grade school but as time went on and I moved away, we weren't able to keep in touch like we did in our younger days. She is now the mommy of adorable Ryan who just celebrated his first birthday in the fall! Lisa wanted to have some shots of all the grandchildren as a special gift for her mom.

It was a joy to see these boys interact with one another.  They love they showed for the youngest member of their crew was just precious.  I hope that they all had as much fun as I!

March Madness | Philadelphia Family Photographer

March can be such a tricky month.  We could get 7 inches of snow, or it could be warm enough to play outside without a jacket.  We were lucky enough last weekend to have a rainy, but warm day.  We left our house as the rain stopped and drove to the park.  I think it's so important to let the boys get some fresh air during the winter.  Running off some of their two year old energy is also a bonus!

6 Month Portraits | Shannon

I drove to South Jersey this past weekend to shoot Shannon's 6 month portraits (she actually turned 6 months the day of the shoot!). I first met her when she was two months old and, my how big she's gotten since our first meeting!  We weren't able to do any outdoor shots because it was so windy, but Shannon was more than cooperative and we had a great time watching her smile and talk in the comfort of her own home.

I arrived and found an entire dining room table filled with adorable tutus, headbands, bows and outfits waiting to be used.  We have a budding fashionista on our hands!
